Napa-Solano Central Labor Council – Early Endorsements – General Election 2022

The Napa-Solano Central Labor Council (AFL-CIO), representing workers across both Napa and Solano Counties and from all walks of life, has confirmed a series of early endorsements for the General Election this November. The candidates listed below were interviewed by the United Workers for Local Government, which consists of representatives from the Napa-Solano Building Trades Council and Napa-Solano Central Labor Council, as well as workers from across all parts of the local economy, from the public sector to construction, and from manufacturing to teachers, nurses, and the service sector.

Candidates who are incumbents with a track record of support for workers’ issues and with past endorsements from the labor movement, running to be re-elected, were eligible for interviews for Early Endorsement. Following in-depth interviews and the consistent use of extensive, substantive questionnaires, these elected officials were evaluated based on their continued understanding and support of workers’ issues. All these candidates who received these Early Endorsements have a demonstrated record as champions for working people, and we gladly support their continued service to the public.

Those candidates who did not receive an early endorsement will be considered along with all other candidates by the Central Labor Council and its affiliates. Remaining Interviews for candidates across Solano and Napa Counties will occur over the course of August.
